Who You Are
- You love to work outdoors
- You have a good bit of experience EITHER installing plants and shrubs OR installing hardscape construction projects
- You’re experienced in supervising a labor crew while working alongside them in the field
- You enjoy training crew members to learn new techniques and become more efficient
- You don’t mind taking care of paperwork
- You enjoy interacting with customers and vendors, as well as your team mates

What We Expect

- Willing and able to work 35-50 hours per week
- Meet company standards and requirements and comply with all safety rules & regulations
- Properly use and maintain all equipment
- Ability to pass a background check
What the Job Looks Like
- 8-10 hours per day outdoors in all weather
- Manage crews to complete jobs on time and under budget
- Manage use of materials and track for billing
- Complete daily paperwork accurately
- Train crew members on new techniques or to improve existing knowledge
- Communicate regularly with customers and vendors
- Walk the talk! Model the behavior we want our crew members to exhibit
- Ensure safe operation of equipment by all team members
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years landscape maintenance and installation experience (working with plants and shrubs) OR 1-3 years hardscape installation experience (paver patios, retaining walls, steps, etc.)
- Experience with landscape equipment: backhoes, mini excavators, cut off saws, etc.
- Experience managing a crew preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Clean and valid PA driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay is $20-$26 per hour or even more depending on experience

- Experience with carpentry, framing, or woodworking
- Experience with concrete or masonry
- Experience with installation or troubleshooting of irrigation equipment
- Experience with installation or troubleshooting of outdoor (low voltage) lighting
- Experience with installation of patios, decks or other outdoor living spaces
- Experience with repairing landscape drainage or other landscape related issues
- Experience with installation and clean up of plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, etc.
- Experience with outdoor power equipment (trimmers, edgers, blowers, etc.)
- Experience driving trucks, with or without pulling a trailer
- Experience supervising crews of 2-6 technicians
